    Will this diet help me lose weight? And is it healthy? Okay so right now i'm seventeen years old, 5'2'' and 148 pounds. According to my doctor, my ideal weight would be around 115-120. I would like to lose this weight quickly, but also be healthy while losing it. I was wondering if this diet plan sounded healthy and like it’ll help me lose weight ((it's basically the South Beach Diet phase 1, but with fruit too. So just no bread)) breakfast: one red delicious apple and one Tbsp natural reduced-fat peanut butter snack: one stalk celery, eight baby carrot, and one Tbsp hummus lunch: salad with: one Cup mixed baby greens, one Cup spinach, 1/4 Cup red bell pepper, 1/4 Cup roasted soy nuts, one Tbsp olive oil and one Tbsp red wine vinegar afternoon snack ((after work out snack)): smoothie made with: 1/5 package (1 serving) silken tofu, 1/2 Cup frozen mixed berries, 1/3 Cup protein powder, one Cup unsweetened soy milk dinner: salad with: one Cup mixed greens, 1/4 Cup chickpeas, one Tbsp balsamic vinegar, italian spices one Cup of watermelon on the side dessert: 1/2 Cup frozen strawberries sprinkled with a little splenda so that all works out to around 1200 calories, 36g fat, zero cholesterol, 744mg sodium, 138g carbs, 49g fiber, 65g protein i'll also be working out. Doing twenty minutes on a stair step machine, fifteen minutes weight lifting, fifteen minutes on elliptical, and one of the “10 minute solutions” dance work outs. And doing around one hundred crunches a day. Will this help me lose weight? Is it healthy? How much weight can i lose per week? If i stick to it all summer, how much could i lose? How many sizes could i go down? Right now i'm a 11-13 in jeans, Large in shirts, 9-11 in dresses. Thanks!

    Hi! I'm 5ft2, 21, 119lbs. I’ve tried just about every diet under the sun. I think you’ll find this very difficult to stick to at the beginning. You’ll crave stodge food. I suggest you have porridge or something filling for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and meat and 2 veg for dinner. Cut out bread as much as you can, cut out sweets/crisps/chocolate, and don't eat after dinner time. Have fresh fruit prepared for snacks and always carry a bottle of water with you, this helps fill you up. Also, keep a food diary. Right down EVERY SINGLE thing that enters your mouth. Sometimes, we nibble without even realising it. As for your exercise, it sounds great, but I would suggest more cardio. Running and swimming are great and inexpensive for losing weight. The crunches are a good idea, but even if you’re building the muscle in your abs, you won't see it until you lose the weight. I also find, keeping a pictures of myself at my largest, and thinnest (no matter how old – well not as a child!) Are fantastic motivation. Best of luck. You can do it!

LOL My diet consists of: warm green tea in the morning (insted of coffee) yoga biking or running at least twice a week warm green tea at 6pm (last for the day) cold green tea instead of coke or coffee as beverage small portions of food every three hours eight hrs of sleep everyday

    I’ve no idea if this diet will help you lose weight, but it sounds healthy… I’m also trying to lose weight. I try to work out everyday (but sometimes skip workouts if I’ve somethig to do… I don’t want the gym over taking my life). The biggest problem I’ve is overeating on accident. Portions are very important. I recently been trying Metamucil… Sounds weird! But it really helps! It fills you up before main meals so that you eat less. There are articles online about it.     You're young, so you don't have to go to extremems to lose weight. This food diet sounds great, but 1200 calories isn't enough for a girl your age. If you want to lose weight AND exercise, then you need to eat between 1700 and 1800 calories at the least. Even if you eat the normal two thousand calories a day, if you go for a jog, or swim or ride a bike, you'll be losing weight in no time. Yea, I know it's not a glamorous way to lose weight, but it's the healthiest way. Trust me, I've been there. You could also try this website. It's great for setting up diet plans.

    Will i lose weight with this diet? I’m fifteen stone and 5 foot 10, I’ve a big build up top (wide shoulders) but a big belly and thighs and chubby face. This is the biggest I’ve ever been – i used to be quite trim with good upper body muscle but i let it all go when my gf had a baby (i ate for two aswell as her :D ) I’m going to have for breakfast a glass of 'innocent smoothie' (fruit smoothie 2x of five a day) a bannana, small orange and an apple. With a multi vitamin and a cod liver oil tablet. Work out intensively and have a protein shake mid day then have a bowl of weetabix or specisal K with semi skimmed milk for lunch. For din dins I'll have like a baked potato with a small bit of cheese or a large helping of tunawith salad on the side. And drink plenty water all day. Does this sound like a diet that I’ll lose weight on? Ive tried loads but I know i could stick to this one. Need to get this flubber off!!!!!
