The Best Cheat Meal Idea If you’re On A Fat Loss Or Low Carb Diet
Many people get on diets for fat loss reasons. Usually to lose enough belly fat to get back to where they were a few years ago. But one of the biggest reasons they fail is because of the so-called cheat meal they fight themselves over.
Yep, you heard that right!
Cheat meals are vital to you having a successful diet, but how and when are you supposed to eat it. Not only that but what are you supposed to eat when cheating?
Well, first lets change the mentality you have with the so-called cheat meal…
Cheat meal are really, in my opinion, re-feed meals.
When you’re on a traditional diet you’re probably feeling starved, low on carbs or another much needed food.
A re-feed, can be used to meet those needs. Not only that, but if done right it’ll lead to muscle gains and a boost in your metabolism. Resulting in more fat loss.
Here is what you do, to accomplish this…
Only have a re-feed day, one time ever eleven to fourteen days
Eat double to triple the calories you usually eat daily in your diet. So if you’re dieting at 1800 calories, shoot for 3600 to 5,400.
Eat four to six meals that day…
Here is an example of a re-feed day I usually use after a hard fourteen days of dieting:
Breakfast: five pancake stack with maple syrup, butter and cinnamon five whole eggs four Maple sausage .5 cup oatmeal with chocolate chips
Lunch: Dairy Queen .5 lb burger Fries and Coke
Mid Day: Protein Shake Peanut Butter Cocoa
Dinner: Olive Garden pasta garlic bread and dessert
Before Bed: Brownies, ice cream and a heap of nuts
As a final point, this type of day is usually monumental, as you can see.
You get to over indulge in foods that are literally bad for you and taste awesome!
There is a lot of science to support the re-feeding technique. But just remember this…
You’ll be able to maintain high levels of training and give yourself a psychological boost. As well as being able to stay consistent with your low carb diet goals.

I’ve never heard of sugar free yogurt. Even if it’s sugar free, it’sn't carb free. On top of that, sugar free and low fat???? What the heck is it made of??? It doesn't matter what the source of carbs is as long as your total daily intake of carbs is below sixty grams. That being said, low carb must be followed at least 3-5 days at a time (without cheating). This is because if you eat too many carbs, you’ll resort back to glycogen use and it may take you several days to start burning fat again. This is strict diet if you want to succeed. (can you add what yogurt brand and name you’re referring too)

Go make your own yogurt. Real yogurt is just fermented milk. “Yogurt” in the grocery store (yes, even Whole Foods), will contains fillers, sugars, and/or artificial sweeteners. To make your own yogurt, all you need is milk, candy thermometer, plus some way of keeping warm (either electric heating pad, electric blanket, or crockpot – I've used all 3 with equal success). Bottom line: if you’re strictly looking at carbs, the crap “yogurt”' at store is low-carb. If you want low-carb free of chemical additives, fillers, etc. Make your own. Sounds intimidating, but actually super easy. This is coming from a super corporate America, decidedly non-hippie, non-crunchy gal.
