Successfully Implement a Weight Loss Plan For Teenagers – Teenage Weight Loss Plan
When it comes to carrying out a teenage weight loss plan, one needs to come to terms with the fact that this is a different ball game from what we’re used to. The difference can mostly be attributed to the reason that teens are in an age bracket which involves a lot of growth. As such, trying extreme measures like starvation to overcome their weight problems is a definite no. You’ll want to choose a diet program that comes with a guarantee and one that’s not only safe but effective as well. Consider the listed factors below when going through such a program.
High risk of obesity in teenagers:
You need to realize that most of the teenagers today are faced with the risk of obesity. Although this sickness can attack people of any age group, statistics reveal that teenagers are one of the most affected groups. When this disease is not treated, your kid is prone to suffering from various other ailments like high blood pressure and even diabetes. This is certainly an issue you should consider when you see that your growing child has started to put on weight.
Media influence:
Remember to read through this very cautiously, the problem and the results have a lot of varieties. The media has done a lot to aggravate the’ssue in teens by portraying thin as the way to go. This undue pressure has caused a lot of people to suffer from bulimia and other eating disorders as they strive to attain such high expectations. Wherever you turn, be it on the television or billboards, you’ll see beautiful women who are strikingly thin and smiling. These images can cause severe disturbances in your kid as he or she strives to attain such a shape, a mere illusion that will do him or her no good.
Consult your parents:

As a teenager trying to overcome a weight issue, you should let your parents in on what programs you’re considering. This way, they’ll be able to give you sound advice which you can implement in your diet plan. It’s also advisable that you visit a health professional or doctor to get his take on what he thinks is the best way forward. Some diet programs are very enticing and may dupe someone to believing that changes are going to happen overnight. This is why you should always seek a third-party advice on your preferred weight reduction plan.
Keep off starvation diets:
Ensure that you stay away from starvation diets as you embark on your teenage weight loss plan. Such crash diets are no good and even though you might lose some pounds as you starve yourself to death, fact is that this weight will be back with a bang in no time at all. Apart from this, you’ll be putting your body in jeopardy as you require a lot of energy at this stage of your life. Unless it’s a doctor’s recommendation for your severe obesity problem and you have someone to monitor you, keep away from such diets.
Avoid fad diets:
Make certain that you also stay clear of fad diets no matter how desperate you’re to lose weight. These diets only involve low calorie meals and some funny gimmick in addition. They claim that your weight will disappear in the blink of an eye, a lie which should in fact ring warning bells in your mind to take to your heels.

Good weight loss plan….? Okay, well I'm sixteen and I really want to start losing weight, I was thinking about Jogging (with walking breaks inbetween) but if I did that everyday wouldn't it like wear down my muscles? Should I Do it every other day? I don't know…. Does anyone have a Diet/exercise plan that actually worked for you? I'm really bad with diets and my family's not really supportive, so It would have to be something I could do by myself, (I can't get a ride to the Gym, and they're not going to buy different foods just for me.. Etc) Any information provided would be helpful! [: I want to lose about sixty pounds.
Needing a serious weight loss plan for my beagle? I’ve a large beagle male whom is about 15-16 inches and he’s fourty-four lbs. He was in a severe accident meaning he couldn't be walked and put on a lot of weight. Since his recovery he has been going on average of 3hour walks per day. But weight seems to be gaining and he gets what seems to be very little food so what shall we do to up his exercise can you give me what you think would be an ideal exercise and feeding routine ? We feed him dry senior food, he’s only three but the lady. At the store said it’ll work as a good dietary as is nutritious with no fats. So how much grams of food should he get per day? And how long should the walks be. Its been a few months since he’s recovered so I really want to get my finger out and help him lose weight quickly thanks for your help

Is this Weight Loss plan good? I'm a thirteen year old girl and in desperate need of weight loss. My goal: ten pounds per month Sunday- Fast the whole day Monday- Diet Tuesday- Diet n' Exercise Wednesday- Diet n' Exercise Thursday- Diet n' Exercise Friday- Diet Saturday- Fast the whole day Exercise- As in Exercise for More Than one hour, Running on Treadmill, and etc. Diet- As in No Junk food, only 1200 calories a day. Fast- As in Fast (from food) but I can drink as much water as I want. Will this Diet (lifestyle) work? Will it help me reach my goal? Is there anything I can do to improve this Plan? Will I become unhealthy? Help?
