Fruit group 3-5 servings daily (1 serving is one medium apple, banana, or orange; cup 118 ml of cooked or canned fruit; or cup 177 ml of fruit juice. Bread, cereal, rice, and pasta group 6-11 servings daily (1 serving is one slice of bread; twenty-eight gm of cereal; or cup 118 ml of cooked cereal, rice, or pasta.

I coulda sworn i found a nice place but im looking for a forum where i can ask info, tell ppl what im eating, and have ppl tell me how i can gradually switch over to eating healthier foods. P90X Diet: Mix and matching meals in the nutrition guide, Can i eat the same Everyday? I'm almost done with week two of p90x and it always seems like I'm scrambling to make sure I’ve the right food for my next meal. Id actually like to just eat similar meals everyday from the nutrition guide phase 1, take a look. Breakfast Cheese/Chicken/Spanich scramble with three pieces of turkey bacon and twelve oz of milk 600-700 cals Steak/Chicken/tuna/or island pork salad Lunch 300-500 cals Dinner Protein shake almost four hundred cals +Protein Bar and Recovery Drink 340 cals +same afternoon snacks from the book Im level two 2400 cals a day and this is relatively close to that, and now im not even hungry for dinner so i think a few hundred less calories wouldn't hurt. Do you think it's okay to do this until phase 2?
I need a nutritional vegetarian diet that…? Complies with my allergies, now I've thought about turning vegetarian for some time now but I'm not sure if it would work out very efficiently for 2 reasons. 1: I've got a pretty active lifestyle and so need a lot of carbs and protein to help maintain my energy and body tissue. And so I'd need some meals that are very nutritional, although… 2: I've got allergies, and I happen to be allergic to 2 main ingredients of vegetarian diets; soy and nuts. This cancels out quite a few meals so I've become kinda stuck :/ If you could help me out that'd be awesome (: thanks in advance! Grains and beans are a complete protein such as whole grain rice and beans of choice or corn and beans work. Not sure what to do about the nut situation it can be left alone for protein but has properties for increasing good cholesterol. Cashew if able some don’t have allergies to them if so o well sad. Pecans are good or walnuts are best for the omega's if all nuts are out that will have to do but if you have options for cashews make your own gravy without fat and work on building your immune system if you can get it built up some come back to some of the allergies foods without hassle I’m working on walnuts myself not full back yet but now I can eat some without migraines. Onward ho is all I know I know they’re good for me even if I can not eat them.

Hair loss & nutrition in vegetarian diet? I'm an eightteen year old female and my hair is less than half of how thick it used to be a few years ago. I've been vegetarian my whole life, I'm on iron supplements with vitamin C for absorption, but my hair continues to fall out a lot! I try and eat as healthy as possible, often I feel really moody and sick because I'm not getting enough nutrients but I try and eat as much healthy food as possible. What should I do? I'm sick of having huge clumps of hair fall out.
Is there a such thing as a Diet/Nutrition nurse? I’m a nursing student and I always thought I wanted to work with children. Even though I still feel that way, I've watched “Super-Size Me” and for some reason it inspired me to want to work in some sort of Diet/Nutrition environment (and also try to cut out fast-food all together…even though I rarely eat it anyway). It's kind of a vague question, but where would I’ve to work to be a nurse in this sort of environment?
