Problems after weight loss? I started on Vyvanse (ADD med), an amphetamine that can cause loss of appetite, about eight months ago. Since I started, I've lost almost 70lbs and am now fourteen y/o, 145lbs at 5'11″. My weight loss was quick at first, but at 165lbs it started to level off, and then it continued to where I’m now. I'm wondering what to do about a few problems I'm having because of such drastic weight loss: -My skin is a bit loose now, especially on my stomach and chest. If I lose much more weight, it’ll look really bad -I look underweight from the side, but I'm actually pretty wide if you view me from the front (broad shoulders). -My mom is freaking out because I look too thin. It's because she cares but I think she's overreacting, she’s trying to take control of my weight loss and tell me what to do, even though my dad is a doctor and I'm following his instructions on how to gain weight in muscle mass. -Stretch marks that I had aren't going away. I had some on my right shoulder from building muscle quickly, those are fading and I don't really mind them. But I also had them right above my waist and on the sides of my lower abdomen. Those aren't stretched anymore but aren't healing. -I’ve very little weight in muscle, especially in my upper body. I can only do twenty-five or so sit-ups at once and two or three pull-ups. Push-ups are better, about fourty at a time. My lower body is fine though, I can run a mile in about 9:30 (probably 9:00 if I were really trying) and can squat about ten reps at 120 lbs. So if you've got solutions/advice for any of those, I'd really appreciate it!

No weight loss first week? I've been on a high protein low fat / low gi diet. I work out every day for an hour at a time mixing it up with cardio and strength training. I don’t eat fat dairy or drink alcohol. I've lost two inches off my waist however I still remain 62kg. I’m 5'11″ and I know I’ve a healthy bmi I just want to loose fat and gain muscle. Any suggestions why I'm not loosing any weight?

It’s a bad idea to look at your weight on a week to week basis, look at it more on a two week or month long basis. A lot of factors can affect it, such as how much water you’re retaining, how much muscle you've gained, etc. Losing inches off your waist is very good, that’s the best sign of change. Look in the mirror, if you notice changes, then that matters way more than the scale. Also, focus on doing your cardio more intense, and lifting harder and heavier every week. If you get stronger, get in better shape carido-wise, and eat healthily like you’re, the body will come with it in time, I promise.

Is this a good weight loss? Okay so four months ago I was six foot tall and weighed 206 pounds. And now I'm 6'1″ and weigh 179 pounds. Is that good weight loss for four months or was the room to lose more weight? Eightteen year old male.
